Five easy ways to learn to love books

Do you wish you were really good at reading? Lots of people feel the same. But the secret is – it’s not that hard! Here are five easy ways to get into a good book.

Get into a series

It doesn’t matter whether it’s fiction or fact, or even an interactive book. If the author wrote or more than one it means the readers liked it so the chances are it’s worth a read. And once you’ve got to know the characters and how the book works, the next one is even easier. The more you read, the easier it becomes.

Want somewhere to start? Get into the Timeliner series.

Read something funny

What’s better than reading something that makes you laugh out loud. Find a good funny book and the only thing that will stop you turning the pages is the tears of laughter getting in the way.

You might even find some cracking lines to amuse your friends!

Challenge a friend

Everything’s more fun when you share it with friends. Why not challenge each other to read a book a week, then catch up and chat about it online or face-to-face.
